Spanish provider ONO increases traffic with TELES switching solution

Leading provider ONO exploits TELES switching solution and applications to grow Spanish traffic.

2010-08-25
BERLIN, GERMANY, August 25, 2010 (Press-News.org) ONO, Spain's leading alternative provider of internet, telephony, and television has enjoyed a significant boost to its traffic following the implementation of a TELES switching solution with advanced functions and applications.

TELES, the Berlin based next generation network and access gateway vendor, has supplied ONO with a switching solution to meet their growing traffic requirements, and, as part of a three year deal, is also providing additional managed services to guarantee reliability and stability.

"Once we began to search for specialist voice applications, we undertook a lengthy and detailed vendor evaluation program," commented Jose Parra, responsible for ONO's Prepaid Services and International Traffic, Interconnection and Carrier Department. "We were impressed with TELES on the basis of the quality of their solution and the level of customization and support that they were offering - which went a lot further towards meeting our detailed requirements than the other vendors we considered. Since the implementation phase was completed we have seen a major increase in prepaid traffic."

Luigi Ferraro, Regional VP Sales, is keen to emphasize that the deal highlights TELES ability to supply and support large providers with the full range of system and network services: "Our project with ONO demonstrates again that TELES is a reliable and consistent partner. On the support side, we are providing ONO with a customized service level agreement so that we can configure new services; carry out scheduled maintenance, and system optimization for routing and new interconnections. We have a dedicated service management team with full knowledge of the highly customized platform so that ONO is in an excellent position to increase traffic levels and introduce new services quickly and efficiently."

TELES supplies service providers with complete Class 4 and Class 5 NGN softswitch solutions. TELES NGN Solution is a standard based, scalable architecture that minimizes integration time and allows you to deploy quickly. The solution includes hosted voice functionality which enables residential VoIP services, hosted PBX (IP Centrex) services, Fixed-Mobile-Convergence, IP Trunking, and additional value added applications. Classical NGN/PSTN applications like Wholesale, Long Distance, and NGN backbone services are also available with this solution.
The TELES product portfolio is complemented with VoIP gateways and mobile gateways for GSM, CDMA, and UMTS networks.

Countless AC Contractors: Which One To Pick And Choose?

2010-08-25
There are countless AC dealers in different parts of the city. Some have the latest brands and models of air conditioners, some feature off-season discounts, and some even bundle up a whole lot of accessories along with air conditioners. In such cases, it is not viable to browse through each of the AC providers, to find the one who offers the best deals. No one has the time and energy to weigh the options and choose. Most of the times, it is either the most recommended store, or the one nearest to the location. Quite conceivably, this should not be an ideal method of ...
