FRANdata Executive Compensation Study Opens Today

Franchise research company FRANdata is now collecting data for the third annual franchise compensation survey. The deadline for submitting data is September 24, 2010, and all active franchise systems are welcome to participate.

ARLINGTON, VA, August 25, 2010 (Press-News.org) Franchise research company FRANdata is now collecting data for the third annual franchise compensation survey. The deadline for submitting data is September 24, 2010, and all active franchise systems are welcome to participate.

"Over the past three years, organization charts and compensation strategies at franchisors have been changing significantly," said Darrell Johnson, President & CEO of FRANdata. "In 2011, we expect hiring to pick up and when it does smart franchises are going to need to know the current pay scales for their positions."

The highly anticipated study will collect data for positions in Administration, Compliance, C-Suite, Field Operations, Franchise Development, Franchisee Training, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal, Marketing and Site Selection. Franchise systems wishing to participate can find the online survey at http://survey.akroninc.net/frandata

The survey data will be analyzed and presented in the "Franchise Compensation Report for 2011," which will be available for purchase in time for people to use it for their planning for the next year. All participating franchises will receive a 70% discount on the cost of the salary report.

Insight and analysis will be provided on job functions including salary average and ranges, starting base pay, commission or long-term incentives, and total compensation. Data will additionally be grouped and analyzed by industry, population density, and size of franchise system.

The survey will be performed by FRANdata in partnership with AKRON Inc., a company specializing in compensation studies.
