Suze Orman to Speak at the Women Who Mean Business Summit

Personal finance expert Suze Orman joins a dynamic lineup of female entrepreneurs for a one-day event at the Greater Richmond Convention Center.

RICHMOND, VA, August 12, 2010 (Press-News.org) At the "Women Who Mean Business" Summit, Suze Orman, sportscaster Heidi Androl and successful Virginia entrepreneurs will bring real-life advice and inspiration to professional Richmond women. The event is sponsored by top companies including Verizon, Altria, Dominion, Metropolitan Business League, WTVR-TV/DT, and Madison+Main.

Presented by the Metropolitan Business League, the one-day summit will advance women's economic opportunities by reducing barriers, offering entrepreneurial and skill-building training, and helping businesswomen establish professional networks. The summit's aim is to help develop and nourish the next generation of female business leaders and entrepreneurs.

Headliner Suze Orman has been called "a force in the world of personal finance" and a "one-woman financial advice powerhouse" by USA Today. A two-time Emmy Award-winning television host, New York Times bestselling author, magazine and online columnist, writer/producer, and one of the top motivational speakers in the world, Orman is undeniably America's most recognized expert on personal finance.

The "Women Who Mean Business" Summit features two specific agenda tracks: one for professional women and one for entrepreneurs. Attendees can participate in discussions with successful women business owners and corporate executives, hear noted authors, and learn how to grow their businesses.
