Beehive Kitchenware Co. Debuts Original Ceramic Line at New York International Gift Fair

Cultural Folk Art Inspires Latest Product Designs From Hand-Crafted Metalwork Experts

2010-08-12
FALL RIVER, MA, August 12, 2010 (Press-News.org) Beehive Kitchenware Co. is bringing style and innovation to this year's New York International Gift Fair by introducing a new collection. Expanding their horizons beyond their mainstay of functional items crafted of high-quality pewter, the skilled crafters will add three lines of ceramic kitchenware to their impressive repertoire.
More than 35,000 attendees from all over the world will catch a glimpse of the new product lines, which were inspired by traditional folk art designs from various cultures. The Harmonie Collection is comprised of a sugar bowl and milk pitcher, and features details inspired by Henna tattoos from India and Pakistan and Hungarian folk motifs, while the materials and forms of the candlesticks and condiment dish of The Winterberry Collection are reminiscent of mid-century, Scandinavian design. Coupled with some of Beehive Kitchenware Co.'s staple items, like the Quotes Measuring Spoons, these hand-crafted family keepsakes are sure to be a show-favorite.
"We are so pleased to debut our new products at this year's New York International Gift Fair," said co-founder Sandra Bonazoli. "We take great pride in creating items that are special and unique, as each of our original prototypes are personally designed and built in our studio. With the expansion of our product lines to now include ornately-designed ceramic items, we want to continue our reputation of fine craftsmanship, while reaching a wider audience."
Beehive Kitchenware Co. is appearing at the New York International Gift Fair at the famed Jacob K. Javits Convention Center from August 15-19. They will appear in the Handmade Designer/Maker Division at booth 9205. For more information on the NYIGF, please visit http://www.nyigf.com.
