LateRooms.com - Bilbao Fitting Room Event Confirmed

Fashionistas may wish to head down to Fitting Room in Bilbao this year to see what international designers and artists have produced for the occasion.

2010-08-18
BILBAO, SPAIN, August 18, 2010 (Press-News.org) Travellers keen to stay up to date with what is hot in the world of European fashion may wish to pop in to Fitting Room, which is taking place in Bilbao.

Running on Friday September 24th and Saturday September 25th, the occasion boasts the participation of several international partners, as well as domestic designers.

Visitors to this event, which takes place at the Melia Hotel in the Basque city, will be treated to a different concept in each room they visit.

According to the organisers, hotel Bilbao guests will be surrounded by creative types, fashion bloggers, trendsetters and art enthusiasts, all of whom attend the show to see what sort of items will be presented by the international designers on the bill.

"The primary objective of the event is to generate an ephemeral showroom where ... networking among participants and visitors [is developed]," they remarked.

This will be the third edition of Fitting Room - with one previous occasion having taken place in Bilbao and another in Madrid - and the Brandery has joined up with the team to offer an exclusive prize to the winners of a design event.

Whoever walks home with the "designer fashion" accolade will participate in the Brandery's winter 2011 edition.

Details of timings and entrance prices have yet to be released, but fashion enthusiasts can be sure that it is a worthwhile occasion to check out.

The call for participants at the show ended on June 10th 2010.
