NEW YORK, NY, August 22, 2010 (Press-News.org) On Saturday, September 25th, scores of entrepreneurs will head to the historic New York Athletic Club to hear high-level professionals from a variety of industries, including media, fashion, sports and music, share the secrets of their success and provide advice on how to reach the niche "guy" market of 18-to-34-year-old men via branding, multi-platform marketing, and innovative ideas.

Following an extremely successful inaugural conference last year, BroCon 2010 (www.brocon.org) provides an opportunity for budding entrepreneurs to learn about best practices and proven strategies used to launch new products and companies, maximize brand loyalty, and engage consumers within the niche "guy" market. This unique networking event aims to stimulate idea-sharing, foster organic relationships and establish high-impact collaborations in an industry-spanning environment.

Confirmed speakers include Mike Dawson, Associate Editor of Maxim Magazine, top-ranked professional lacrosse player, Paul Rabil, and CEO/founder of Media Haus Agency & TheFreeStyleLife.com, Tommy Swanhouse, whose work includes creating Playboy's popular reality series "Interns." BroCon was founded by Doug Schulkin, who is also the founder of Status Flow, a lacrosse-lifestyle clothing company based in Baltimore, MD. Brian Bauer is the Chief Operations Officer at BroCon. He also heads the Online Marketing Division at Bauer & Associates, Inc., a consulting firm based in Manhattan and Chicago. As an expert at guiding companies through the emerging media landscape, Brian discussed social media's impact on the "Bro-mmunity" at BroCon 2009. Doug and Brian met while playing club lacrosse at the University of Maryland.
