Family Law Attorney Kim Killebrew Named Denton County Bar Member of the Year

Kimberly Killebrew, partner at the law firm of Neal, Ashmore & Killebrew, has been selected as the Denton County Bar Member of the Year.

Ms. Killebrew was recognized for her outstanding dedication and leadership within the Denton County Bar. She worked to establish the Denton County Bench Bar Conference that serves to facilitate understanding and build relationships between members of the bench and bar. She also recruited numerous speakers for the conference this year, including five justices from the 2nd Court of Appeals and the President of the State Bar of Texas.

In addition to her activities with the Denton County Bar, Ms. Killebrew participates in several other organizations. She is a director on the Plano Bar Association Board, the chair of the Collin County Bench Bar Association and the treasurer of the Frisco Bar Association. Ms. Killebrew is also on the planning committee for the Collin City National Adoption Day.

Ms. Killebrew has over two decades of experience practicing family law. She focuses her practice on assisting clients with divorce and child custody matters. Previously she was a certified kindergarten teacher, so she has an excellent background working with children and is experienced in helping parents through stressful family break-ups. Ms. Killebrew is also a certified mediator.
