BEIRUT, LEBANON, September 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) Al-Bayan Bilingual School, a prestigious educational institution in Kuwait, recently signed with White Mountain Technologies to purchase Skoolee school information management software. The breadth and depth of the Skoolee system was what most appealed to the administrators at Al-Bayan.
Al-Bayan and White Mountain held a series of fit/gap analysis sessions to identify the school's functional, technical, and data needs. Before Skoolee, each department at the school was using its own software. For Al-Bayan, Skoolee provides a unified, all-inclusive information management system.
Al-Bayan is anticipating implementing all of the principal features of Skoolee to streamline the school's workflow and communications. At present, White Mountain and Al-Bayan are finalizing the data migration and are integrating Skoolee Tools with their existing software. The team is also working to accommodate both the national and high school academic systems at the same time.
Skoolee also assists Al-Bayan in meeting mandatory governmental obligations. Skoolee has the capacity to generate all of the required government reports on the official templates. Skoolee also has the unique flexibility of operating in the Arabic language using an Arabic interface.
White Mountain presented Al-Bayan with a comprehensive implementation plan. The project will roll out in a succession of phases: setting up the school structure, admissions, enrollment, and registration; establishing the generation of report cards, grade books, online exams, and time tables; and creating the network for the library, medical, transportation, and inter-user communications. At Al-Bayan, the school directors, teachers, students, and students' guardians will use Skoolee.
As a result of working in partnership with Al-Bayan Bilingual School, White Mountain is developing Skoolee version 5.0, which includes an improved user interface and the capability for Skoolee to be opened in any browser using HTML 5 technology.
