Last year it welcomed over 2 million visitors during its seven week run. This year, Winter Wonderland is set to be bigger and better than ever, with attractions including the UK's largest ice rink and Zippos Circus, featuring jugglers, clowns and aerialists. Thrill seekers should visit Zippos Cirque Beserk, which includes the daring 'Globe of Death', knife throwing and high-wire performances. There is also an observation wheel which travels 60 metres into the air and allows 360 degree views of the park and beyond.
The park will offer a huge selection of seasonal food and drink; there are many bars, chalets and cafes, as well the well-known Bavarian Village, which will house restaurants including Spiegel's Saloon and bars serving up Christmas treats, such as mince pies and warm mulled wine. The Christmas Market is another popular attraction, where you can pick up gifts and decorations for the festive season.
The Magical Ice Kingdom also returns for another year, it has taken four months to sculpt and contains over 200 tonnes of ice. Visitors are able to wander through the kingdom to see glittering ice sculptures before sliding down into the ice castle!
General admission to the fair is free, however many of the attractions have a charge. Opening hours are from 10am until 10pm every day, apart from Christmas Day.

SAN DIEGO – (Monday, November 5, 2012) – Heart disease risk factors are widespread among Hispanic/Latino adults in the United States, with 80 percent of men and 71 percent of women having at least one risk factor for heart disease, according to a San Diego State University study funded by the National Institutes of Health. Adults 18-24 years old with high blood pressure were 28 percent less likely to be diagnosed during doctor visits than those 60 and older, according to findings presented at the American Heart Association's Scientific Sessions 2012.
