In this position, Reid is responsible for leading the bank's sales team in Triangle-area business development for the organization, facilitating outstanding client service for customers, and serving as a resource and advocate for Paragon's activities.
Reid started with Paragon as a senior vice president and commercial banker in 2001 to develop business with commercial and industrial operated small companies in the Triangle area. After 10 years in that position, Reid began working for CapTrust as a vice president and financial advisor, specifically offering institutional advisory and fiduciary advice to corporations for their retirement plans.
Reid's philanthropic and civic activities include serving as treasurer for the Cary Chamber of Commerce's executive board. He serves as vice president of the economic development board for the Town of Cary and is on the board of directors for the YMCA of the Triangle. He participates in the Cary Rotary Club and has served as its sergeant of arms.
He obtained his Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University in Columbus in finance, and his MBA in finance and marketing from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management in Cleveland.
