HTG, Inc. Awarded ITIL3 Best Practices Certifications

HTG Inc. awarded ITIL3 Best Practices certifications, leads to winning Excellence in Global IT Support award from international client.

2013-01-28
VANCOUVER, WA, January 28, 2013 (Press-News.org) HTG, Inc. announced the successful completion of upgraded technology certifications known as ITIL.

Short for Information Technology Infrastructure Library, ITIL represents the international set of best practices for IT service management (ITSM).

Kermit Macaulay, CEO of the Vancouver Washington based company, said "it's vital if you want to ensure the best possible outcomes for your customer base; it's the worldwide de facto standard in ITSM for a reason".

The practices comprise a framework of procedures, tasks and checklists resulting in tools to measure successes and demonstrate compliance.

"A clear baseline from which IT solution providers can plan, implement and measure is key to the success of large enterprise nationwide deployments, and these are the kind of projects we do all the time", Macaulay said.

Convinced the kinks are fewer and the rewards greater Macaulay also relies upon the ITIL3 framework in the provision of IT support in seven European countries.

"I think it led to our end of year award for 2012", referring to HTG's recognition for "Excellence in Global IT Support" by an international client.

The award was presented to HTG last month in Portland, Oregon and was the first of its kind to be given to an external vendor. Along with a stellar international team, Macaulay credited ITIL best practices.

HTG Inc. helps national corporations complete major, multilocation IT projects with amazing efficiency. For such companies, we revolutionize the way their IT management gets done, saving them hundreds of thousands of dollars and tens of thousands of man-hours.
