Famed interior designer and author of "my Sicilian kitchen" cookbook, Linda Bilo-Brechtel will host an official appearance and book signing at Rolling Greens inside of SOCO in Costa Mesa, California on Saturday April 13th, 2013 between 11am and 1pm. Guests will be able to meet the author personally as well as ask any questions they may have in regards to the coveted Bilo family Sicilian recipes in an open Q&A forum. Copies of "my Sicilian kitchen" cookbook will be available for purchase, with each copy to be signed and personalized for each guest by Linda herself. About The Author: Linda Bilo-Brechtel
As a California native and renowned Interior Designer by trade, Linda Bilo-Brechtel has combined her love of Sicilian food, the world of design, and her desire to give back, with the release of "my Sicilian kitchen" Cookbook. A true believer that a passion for design can be translated into any industry, Linda has taken her skilled artistic eye and designed her premier book as both a practical cookbook with refined recipes as well as a timeless tabletop book that can serve as a conversation piece for guests. As the youngest daughter of Angelo and Margherita Bilo, both Italian immigrants born in Palermo, Sicily, Linda's interest in cooking and design was cultivated early on as she watched her parents create authentic Sicilian recipes from simple, fresh ingredients. Inspired by her mother Margherita's dedication and support of abused and neglected children in Bari, Italy, for over fifty years, Linda chose to dedicate herself to cause driven activities, particularly those that help children in need under the care of the national foundation, Childhelp.
