DAYTON, OH, April 09, 2013 (Press-News.org) Greyden Press wants writers to enter completed, unpublished manuscripts online in the company's first book contest. Prizes will be awarded in three categories: fiction, non-fiction, and children's books. All ages are welcome to compete, kids to adults.
The first 50 authors who enter--that's 50 in each category--will be eligible for the Grand Prize worth over $3,000, which includes 50 printed copies of the Grand Prize winner's books or 25 printed copies of his or her book plus free e-book conversion. Authors who miss eligibility for the Grand Prize will win a Recognized Author or Silver Lining prize, which includes a free or half-price author website.
"Many people want to get a book they've written published or know someone who does. We're excited that in addition to helping writers cost effectively self-publish every day, through this competition we can help some writers jump-start their publishing adventure!" says Jeffrey R. Relick, president of Greyden Press, LLC.
