NEW YORK, NY, May 26, 2013 (Press-News.org) "BRIC Language systems has introduced a revolutionary new and effective method for learning languages!"
BRIC Language Systems, a one of a kind online language learning platform, introduces its 'Revolutionary Approach' aimed at enabling America's modern professional to learn the most beneficial languages for today's economy, announces its launch in January 2013. BRIC, literally abbreviated for Brazil, Russia, India, and China, focuses on assisting people learn the languages spoken in these countries as well as Mexico and Latin America. BRIC has successfully launched it's Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish programs with planned launch dates for Russian and Hindi in 2014.
Brainchild of Ryan McMunn, the former Vice President of the Asian Operations of a United States manufacturing firm, the company was started out of the frustration he suffered for five years while learning how to speak Mandarin Chinese when he was stationed in Shanghai, China.
He believes that the emergence of new world economic giants brings with it new business opportunities. To take advantage of the new trends, companies, organizations, governments and individuals must be prepared to take a lead. Language has been identified as one of the barriers towards the efforts of venturing into new markets. Brazil, Russia, India, China, and Mexico are the emerging world economic forces that no corporation or business minded individual can ignore. English is not the main language of use in these countries. To fully engage and get involved, one has to learn the local language.
BRIC Language Systems, in realization of this need, has come up with a creative way of helping individuals and companies with learning a new language. With the launch of www.briclanguage.com, a new age has begun for language learners. Using the best native speaking teachers, brought live via video, from Brazil, Russia, India, China and Mexico to students in the US, BRIC guarantees the most interactive online system available. In addition to live teachers, the platform includes file-sharing capabilities for pictures, music and video as well as white boards and exclusively developed online content.
Ryan McMunn points out that this is done in recognition that one cannot use same method to learn every language. For example, learning how to speak Brazilian Portuguese will be very different from learning how to speak Mandarin Chinese, or any other language, for that matter. The company recognizes that the languages are dynamic and aim at teaching them the way they are spoken today. Similarly, one would be able to learn to speak Spanish online using their innovative language learning methods.
The company has a capable team of language experts who will take the language learners through the process in a way that is convenient to each and every learner. The course is well integrated with learning of people's culture, which would be part and parcel of the process.
They also plan introducing language learning opportunities for people interested in learning Arabic, Russian, and Indian in near future.
BRIC Language Systems is an online language learning system dedicated to giving people the tools they need for success in a globally competitive age. Please call us today at 1-888-441-6438 or visit http://briclanguage.com.

How do cold ions slide?
2013-05-25
Things not always run smoothly. It may happen, actually, that when an object slides on another, the advancement may occur through a 'stop and go' series in the characteristic manner which scientists call "stick-slip", a pervasive phenomenon at every scale, from earthquakes to daily-life objects, up to the "nano" dimension. Davide Mandelli, Andrea Vanossi and Erio Tosatti of the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) of Trieste have studied the conditions in which at the nanoscopic level the switch from smooth sliding to stick-slip regime occurs, simulating ...
Facial-recognition technology proves its mettle
2013-05-25
In a study that evaluated some of the latest in automatic facial recognition technology, researchers at Michigan State University were able to quickly identify one of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects from law enforcement video, an experiment that demonstrated the value of such technology.
In the Pattern Recognition and Image Processing laboratory, Anil Jain, MSU Distinguished Professor of computer science and engineering, and Josh Klontz, a research scientist, tested three different facial-recognition systems.
By using actual law-enforcement video from the bombing, ...

Researchers identify first drug targets in childhood genetic tumor disorder
2013-05-25
Two mutations central to the development of infantile myofibromatosis (IM)—a disorder characterized by multiple tumors involving the skin, bone, and soft tissue—may provide new therapeutic targets, according to researchers from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The findings, published in the American Journal of Human Genetics, may lead to new treatment options for this debilitating disease, for which the only current treatment option is repeated surgical removal of the tumors.
IM is an inheritied disorder that develops in infancy or even in utero and tumors ...

Driving and hands-free talking lead to spike in errors: UAlberta study
2013-05-25
Talking on a hands-free device while behind the wheel can lead to a sharp increase in errors that could imperil other drivers on the road, according to new research from the University of Alberta.
A pilot study by Yagesh Bhambhani, a professor in the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, and his graduate student Mayank Rehani, showed that drivers who talk using a hands-free cellular device made significantly more driving errors—such as crossing the centre line, speeding and changing lanes without signalling—compared with just driving alone. The jump in errors also corresponded ...
Understanding the past and predicting the future by looking across space and time
2013-05-25
MADISON, Wis. – Studying complex systems like ecosystems can get messy, especially when trying to predict how they interact with other big unknowns like climate change.
In a new paper published this week (May 20) in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, researchers from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and elsewhere validate a fundamental assumption at the very heart of a popular way to predict relationships between complex variables.
To model how climate changes may impact biodiversity, researchers like Jessica Blois and John W. (Jack) Williams routinely ...
