Chicago Podiatrist Completes Additional Training For New Technology

Dr. Bryan Hersh at The Center for Podiatric Medicine in Chicago has completed additional training on the PinPointe Laser as well as the Hyprocure Implant.

2013-06-22
CHICAGO, IL, June 22, 2013 (Press-News.org) Dr. Bryan Hersh, Chicago foot doctor, remains on the cutting edge of podiatry's technology and procedures by completing more than the required amount of education hours in Illinois. By completing these courses, Dr. Hersh is able to increase his understanding and ability to provide the best in podiatric care.

Dr. Hersh has completed training on the PinPointe Laser for the treatment of toenail fungus in Schaumburg. The PinPoint Laser is designed to safely kill the organisms that are embedded in the nail bed that cause toenail fungus. The procedure required a small number of painless, quick treatments that require no anesthesia. This procedure is safe and effective, with most patients improving after the first treatment.

In addition to the PinPoint Laser, Dr. Hersh, foot doctor in Schaumburg, has also completed additional training for flatfoot reconstructive procedures, specifically the HyProCure implant. Flatfoot occurs when the ankle bone displaces off of its natural alignment with the hindfoot bone and midfoot bone. The HyProCure Implant instantly corrects the problem at its root and immediately works on improving and even reversing many of the symptoms resulting from the flatfoot deformity.

"I am very excited about podiatry and many of the new techniques, advances and treatments that I can offer to my patients. We are always looking to give the most up-to-date and effective treatments available. Keeping up with continuing education allows us to make this possible," said Dr. Jones, podiatrist in Chicago, IL.
