(Press-News.org) The University of Copenhagen is excited to announce Gordian Biotechnology as a Tier 5 Sponsor of the 12th Aging Research & Drug Discovery Meeting, the world's largest conference on aging research in the biopharmaceutical industry that will transpire on August 25 - August 29, 2025 on-site at the Ceremonial Hall, University of Copenhagen, and online. 

Gordian Biotechnology is a therapeutics company transforming how the industry discovers and develops treatments for age-related diseases. By integrating pooled screening in naturally occurring disease models, single-cell analysis, and in vivo gene therapy, Gordian enables early evaluation of therapeutic candidates in complex, physiologically relevant disease models. 

Traditional discovery approaches often rely on reductionist systems that fail to predict clinical success. Gordian’s platform brings the fidelity of whole-organism biology into the earliest phases of drug discovery, making it possible to identify targets with a higher likelihood of success in patients. 

Their lead program in osteoarthritis has demonstrated therapeutic effects on both cartilage degradation and pain across four species including human systems, and is moving towards clinical trials. Additional programs in heart failure, obesity, and pulmonary fibrosis are progressing through preclinical validation of screen hits.

About Aging Research for Drug Discovery Conference

At ARDD, leaders in the aging, longevity, and drug discovery field will describe the latest progress in the molecular, cellular and organismal basis of aging and the search for interventions. Furthermore, the meeting will include opinion leaders in AI to discuss the latest advances of this technology in the biopharmaceutical sector and how this can be applied to interventions.
