Infusing soul and incredible depth into an intoxicating blend of contemporary folk and new age music—this is the rock solid foundation for one of the hottest up and coming groups in the Christian genre. The duo of Andrea Davis-Griffin and John Stallworth teamed up to form the inspiring and thought-provoking creation known as Prayer/Life while delivering a positive message driven by faith. Their initial success is reaching new heights, and the group is asking fans to help vote for them in the eWorld Music Awards via the Boomerang Media Station.

Drawing comparisons to artists such as Sarah MacLachlan, George Winston, Sara Groves, and Enya, Prayer/Life quickly rose through the ranks of contemporary Christian music by blending elements of pop, folk, and new age to create a unique and peaceful sound. Their debut record, In Our Midst, is laden with lyrics meant to serve as a backdrop for meditation and reflection while praising the grace of God and delivering His message through beautiful song. Both band members collaborate on the music, lyrics and arrangements, while Davis-Griffin provides rich vocals and flute with Stallworth plays masterful piano, keys, and synths.

Prayer/Life have also taken their talents on the road as well, performing a number of times since 2007 at various coffee shops and church events, including an awards show at the Then and Now Gospel Showcase in Los Angeles. Internet radio stations are also picking up on their well-honed songwriting abilities, as IndieHeaven, Live365, Urban Soul Radio, and Jango.com are all currently spinning a selection of their tunes. 10,000+ international fans have joined their Jango and Facebook fan groups to express enthusiasm for the band's mission. The group received national recognition when "I Cover My Face" and "Trouble (Notes from Jail)" each took home Honorable Mention awards in 2010 during the Billboard World Song Contest.

After a number of awards and accolades, Prayer/Life is one of the five acts nominated for an eWorld Music Award in the Country/Folk/Faith category, which will be decided on February 12 in Hollywood, California during Grammy Weekend. Fans can vote for the outstanding Christian duo to win an award by downloading the Boomerang Media Station, which is a free media program sponsored by eWorld Media at ewboomerang.com.

Garnering press, radio, and media attention continues to fuel Prayer/Life's soulful fire, as they aim to expand their musical reaches even further in 2011.
