Bruegger's Green Bagels Are Back!

Bruegger's celebrates St. Patrick's Day with once-a-year bagel treats.

BURLINGTON, VT, March 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) This St. Patrick's Day, Bruegger's will help spread the luck of the Irish with their famous, hot-from-the-oven green bagels. An annual tradition that started at a Pittsburgh Bruegger's in 1997, the company will sell its green bagels to guests across the nation on March 16 and March 17 at participating bakeries while supplies last.

Bruegger's makes the once-a-year bagels by adding a touch of Irish magic to its traditional bagel dough, which is boiled and baked in the New York-style and served hot from the oven in each of its bakeries. Guests love the quirky St. Patrick's Day treat -- Bruegger's sold more than 55,000 green bagels in 2010.

These festive bagels will be available for a limited time only on Wednesday, March 16 and Thursday, March 17, 2011. Bakery hours and Bruegger's bakery locations can be found on Bruegger's website.
