Caterpillar Launches New UK 2010 Catalogue

Caterpillar, one of the UK's best selling and most popular brands of rugged and hard-wearing footwear, this week unveil their new range of 2010 Caterpillar boots, with the new men's' Caterpillar Depict Hi leading the charge.

2010-09-11
HERTFORDSHIRE, ENGLAND, September 11, 2010 (Press-News.org) The Caterpillar (CAT) name is synonymous with long-lasting quality, comfort and fashion. Primarily a man's brand, Caterpillar boots look great with a pair of jeans and are a popular choice for casual walkers as the weather turns to the harsher climes of winter.

For its 2010 selection, Caterpillar continues to emphasise its core values and iconic ranges with its Legendary Raw collection. The most exciting addition, however, is the Caterpillar Depict Hi.

The newest offering from CAT is a mid-cut man's boot that retains the familiar comfort, style, fine quality materials and durability that is expected of the popular footwear brand. Key additions are extra EVA cushioning and an innovative new Caterpillar tank tread sole unit, which combine to provide extra support and improved grip, something often said to be lacking from Caterpillar's classic Colorado boot. The end result is a striking new statement in men's' footwear, one that has instant appeal to CAT's considerable consumer base.

Hertfordshire based sports and outdoor shoes retailer FitnessFootwear.com has been the first to try out the new Caterpillar shoes for themselves, giving the Depict Hi two thumbs up for comfort, style and fit, while praising its unique tracked sole design.

"It's a classic style CAT boot with some excellent extra features," said Luke Barlow, FitnessFootwear MD, "and that's exactly what CAT boot wearers want."

Although largely known for their premium quality work boots in the US market, in the UK Caterpillar is regarded as a top tier fashion brand, and also attracts particular praise and attention from outdoor walking enthusiasts who appreciate CAT's renowned walking boots.

In 2009, Caterpillar increased focus on its women's range, with biker-inspired fashion boots sparking the imagination of wearers, while protective winter boots guaranteed warm feet through the cold months. Following the success of that stronger focus on fashion, Caterpillar's women's' range expands further this year with many improvements in comfort, warmth and grip, yet still retaining the classic, rugged good looks that define the Caterpillar brand.

With a commitment to steadily develop the CAT range of boots for men and women, Caterpillar continues to manufacture good quality, hard wearing boots that meet their customers' high expectations.

Employee Misconduct Claims in New Jersey: Separating Fact From Fiction

2010-09-11
Employment in New Jersey is generally on an "at will" basis. This means the employee is free to quit at any time and the employer may fire the employee at any time for any reason - except for unlawful discrimination. When the employer offers an explicit employment contract or modifies "at will" status through an employer's handbook, then employee rights and responsibilities are governed by the terms of those documents. Employer handbooks are treated like contracts, unless the handbook states (and some do) that employees cannot rely on it. New Jersey courts have said: ...

Companies that engage in this practice save money for themselves at the ...
