Lohan In Trouble Again
For example, authorities recently stopped actress Lindsay Lohan when she failed to stop at a stop sign while driving. Rather than issuing her a citation, though, they let her go with a warning. A citation could have caused the troubled actress big problems.
Lohan recently served a prison sentence for probation violations stemming from her 2007 arrest for DUI. She is currently shooting a film in Louisiana and, if she has any further run-ins with the law in California, a judge may not allow her to leave the state.
What If You're Not a Celebrity?
Unfortunately, not all of us can count on our celebrity status to keep us out of trouble with the law. Every day, people across the country are cited for traffic violations, and for the most part we must simply take them in stride. For some, traffic tickets are simply one of the costs of driving.
