Vyrotek's "I'm Just Different" Nominated for Grammy Award

After years if being unknown, Vyrotek is on his way to the Grammys.

2012-08-10
PHILADELPHIA, PA, August 10, 2012 (Press-News.org) Indie artist Vyrotek has come a long way in the music industry. From recording an EP in his bedroom, to having one of the best releases of the 2012 summer and now he is on the radar for Grammy voters. "It would be nice if I were to get nominated, it would be amazing. I have submitted to the Grammy's yes, I believe I submitted to four categories," When asked what award he wanted the most, he replied with Best New Artist. "Last year when I saw Adele take all of those Grammy awards home, I said that's gonna be me soon, I thought that was amazing, she deserved it."

Vyrotek's EP/Album "I'm Just Different" was released July, 13th and already it has been compared to the early works of Linkin Park, Deftones, and P.O.D. MME also ranked the album #4 on its Best Alternative Albums of the Summer list behind Linkin Park and Maroon 5. New Rock Music also noted the albums personal content, stating that Vyrotek is a "Lyrical Genius." Vyrotek has also revealed that he is working on his second release (first studio album) and has stated that his new material will be more personal, energetic, and emotional. Vyrotek also stated that he will be working with Grammy winner Mike Tarsia of the legendary Sigma Sound Studios to record his album. "I am really looking forward to it. I can't wait until it's finished."

The Grammy's are set to go live at The Staples Center February, 10, 2013 and hopefully Vyrotek will be attending as a nominee. Some of Vyrotek's fans, the Vyrotopians, have stated that they would love to see him get nominated, it would make them proud.

"I don't really know for sure if I'll get nominated because in this industry you never know what's going to happen. I'm just hoping that everything turns in my favor." When asked if he will be attending the Grammy's regardless if he gets nominated, Vyrotek responded with "I will not be attending as a spectator."
