The original Find Now is a free app that allows users to find on a map nearby restaurants, bars, coffee shops, gas stations and more. Version 2.0 increases dramatically the value brought to the user by adding nearby deals into the mix. Find Now 2.0 highlights what deals are available in real time, allowing users to visit the businesses that offer these deals, as soon as the deals are advertised.
The deals are obtained from various coupon and deal aggregators in US, UK, Canada and Australia, and will soon expand to other regions of the world. Google Places provides data for the other businesses.
The adoption of the 2.0 release of Find Now is picking up pace and is already exceeding expectations in the first week of its release. This may reflect the way users want to find out about deals.
