IRVINE, CA, December 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) All-Pro Science, Inc. (APS) donated all-natural nutritional supplement products on behalf of M.D. Jennings, valued at $1,000 to Calhoun City High School's football program as part of an APS' TEAMAPS athlete promotion. All Pro Science has donated to Orange County high schools in the past, such as Buena Park and Santa Margarita in order to promote healthy supplements to student-athletes.
APS donated multiple boxes of its Collegiate Compliant RECOVERY supplement powder and APS shaker cups for each player. The TEAMAPS donation program was designed to educate student-athletes on the benefits of eating and supplementing correctly, with all-natural products.
Calhoun City High School is located in Calhoun City, Mississippi. Jennings, who currently plays Safety for the Green Bay Packers was named first-team all-state in his senior year at Calhoun City when the team went 21-1 and reached the third round of the state playoffs. M.D. received second-team all-state honors as a junior after delivering 70 tackles and eight interceptions. He also lettered six times in baseball, having made the varsity team in 7th grade. Even while playing sports year round, Jennings made time for his studies. He worked hard on and off the field, graduating number 5 in his class and receiving the United States National Minority Leadership Award in 2005.
"It's impressive for professional athletes to give back and not forget where they came from. The student-athletes today idolize the guys who have their jerseys hanging in the schools trophy cases. Nothing wrong with sharing on what it takes to be the best. Nothing in life comes cheap. Hard work and dedication with no short cuts for the longevity players." states R.J. Demman, Chief Marketing Officer at All-Pro Science.
Paul Edalat, Director of APS said "We're just happy we can make the donation to these schools in honor of our APS Team Athletes. Most people don't realize that these professional athletes have a choice when it comes to what nutritional supplememnts they take. We don't pay our athletes like most other supplement companies do. Our sponsored athletes take our product because it is the only 100% all-natural sports line on the market."
