DASCOM Americas Announces Printer Trade-in Rebate Program - Highlights of Program Include Savings of $200 Plus Free Ground Freight Within Continental U.S.

2013-01-22
WAYNESBORO, VA, January 22, 2013 (Press-News.org) DASCOM Americas, a recognized leader in complete business printing solutions and marketer of Tally and TallyDASCOM serial matrix, thermal and point of sale printers, is pleased to announce trade-in rebates for all manufacturer serial matrix and line matrix printers now through December 31, 2013 with the purchase of a new Tally T2365 or T2380 printer from a participating authorized DASCOM Americas' Distributor.

The trade-in rebate, applicable in North America only, is direct from DASCOM Americas and is paid once the old printer being traded in is received by the company.

The high end Tally serial models feature 24-pin print head technology for crisp, clear print. The T2380 head life is rated at 750 million characters, prints at speeds of up to 1100 characters per second, and has a monthly throughput capability of 50,000 pages. The T2380 is available in single and dual tractor models.

The T2365 head is rated at 750 million characters, prints at speeds of up to 840 characters per second, and has a monthly print throughput of 40,000 pages. The HD model of the T2365 gives you the capability to print up to 9 part forms with a head life of 500 million characters. These units also come in single and dual tractor models.

The rebate program is in response to many customers who have older units but are looking to upgrade to the newer, more reliable machines where parts availability and service are not an issue.

According to Ken Bryant, DASCOM Americas Marketing Manager; "Many people discount serial matrix technology as something that is past its prime, and while this may be true, serial impact printing remains a cost-effective method for forms printing in places and niches including warehouses, trucking facilities, back office environments and any number of other environments where multipart forms are being used. Often, the cost of a new serial matrix printer from DASCOM is less than what some customers may be paying in maintenance on older line printers. Further, the ongoing cost of operations is a lot less than most laser technologies where toner is very expensive for print. Couple these advantages with true "plug and play" replacement in many applications, and our products are a sound, feasible choice - most especially with the trade-in rebate."

In addition to the great benefits outlined in the trade-in program, DASCOM Americas separates itself by offering free ground freight on shipments within the continental U.S. whether they are part of the trade-in or not. With freight shipments being a huge expense and some people actually using freight costs as something else to mark up as a profit center point, the free freight is a key advantage for users of the DASCOM product.

DASCOM Americas distributes its product in North, South and Latin America through a select network of Distribution Partners. Its full list of printer products is showcased at the company website www.dascomamericas.com.
