PHUKET, THAILAND, November 16, 2010 (Press-News.org) The programmes are part of the Scuba Go Pro Courses which are set to feature in Koh Chang and a number of other Thai islands and coastal locations such as Koh Tao, Pattaya, Phuket, Koh Samui and Koh Lanta.
People with previous diving experience and a prerequisite number of dives can sign up for the programmes which include the PADI Divemaster, PADI Assistant Instructor, PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, Emergency First Response Instructor, Specialty Instructor and the PADI IDC Staff Instructor.
All the courses are designed in teaching new skills and for participants to gain enough knowledge and experience to be able to teach people how to dive. The first step of the career to becoming an instructor is to start with the Divemaster course which demonstrates to students leadership skills and features a number of practical exercises mixed with home and classroom study.
People can then progress to the number of other courses on offer and the final instructor exams will be held on 7th and 8th December 2010. With the increased number of people heading to the island to attend the courses and exams demand for a hotel Koh Chang is likely to significantly rise over the events.
Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com, commented: "Many people visit Koh Chang for the pristine beaches and clear waters. The courses on offer will only increase the influx of visitors so people should plan accommodation early and book hotels ahead of schedule."
