BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND, November 16, 2010 (Press-News.org) Shortly after celebrating the one year anniversary of its flagship store, Cloggs.co.uk has been nominated for an award for Best Specialist Etailer in this year's Drapers awards. The nomination is due to Cloggs.co.uk's strong position as one of the leading online fashion footwear retailers.

The Drapers Etail awards, now in their third year, are focused on rewarding those companies who have adapted to the dynamic changes that have occurred in e-Commerce over the past year. Two new categories have been introduced this year, including Best Use of Social Media; these additional categories represent the changing shape of online business.

Cloggs.co.uk, who specializes in branded footwear, will be competing against a diverse range of specialists in their category including maternity clothes specialist Seraphine and designer lingerie supplier FigLeaves.

Damian Scarlett, Director of Cloggs.co.uk, is confident that Cloggs.co.uk is the leading online branded footwear supplier. "We began operating online ten years ago," he said. "Since then we've never stopped growing." The online store, which is now receiving upwards of 20,000 hits per day, stocks popular brands including UGG, Converse, Crocs, Dr Martens and Hunter Wellies.
