Publisher T.R. Threston confirmed as a delegate for the UN and PVBLIC Foundation 2014 Media 4 Social Impact Summit

World Guide Publishing's CEO, T.R. Threston, will be attending the Media 4 Social Impact Summit in New York City on April 11, 2014. The exclusive event is organized by the UN Office for Partnerships & PVBLIC Foundation and is by invitation only.

NEW YORK, NY, April 09, 2014 (Press-News.org) This coming Friday, April 11, 2014, the UN Office for Partnerships and PVBLIC Foundation will be hosting the Media 4 Social Impact Summit at the United Nations headquarters in New York City, and, World Guide Publishing's CEO, T.R. Threston, will be among just 100 delegates that were invited to attend this important meeting. The prestigious event brings together top members of leading media companies, advertising firms and creative agencies who will join UN experts to highlight the power of media to drive social change and important campaigns around pressing global issues. The summit includes: keynote speeches, interviews, case studies and roundtables and networking opportunities for the delegates attending.

In a statement Threston said she is "very honored and humbled to be among the delegates attending the summit" and went on to say that she is "looking forward to the event, and, eager to discuss ideas with fellow attendees." The invitation only summit beings at 9AM and runs all day through 6PM.

T.R. Threston has been involved in the past with United Nations activities including Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday is a national day of giving at the start of the annual holiday season. It celebrates and encourages charitable activities that support non-profit organizations, and, Threston ranked first in the 2013 campaign.

World Guide Publishing has headquarters in New York and London and was founded in 2008 by award winning travel writer T.R. Threston. The company produces books, magazines and other media focusing on travel and upscale lifestyles.
