myBlee iPad App Reinvents K-6 Mathematics

Makes Kids Love Math!

2014-04-09
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, April 09, 2014 (Press-News.org) Education trailblazer myBlee announced today the launch of myBlee Math, a first-of-its-kind iOS app that allows children to learn, practice, and review elementary school mathematics on their own, from their iPad.

Apple App Store link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/myblee-math/id485439231?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D4

• myBlee Math was created by a veteran Math teacher and mother of 3
• Turns the iPad Into A Child's Personal, Interactive Math Tutor
• Aligned with the Math Common Core Standards for grades K-6

myBlee Math's innovations result from two years of intense research and development by a team of experienced teachers. The app covers all grade level standards in the Common Core for K-6, while allowing children to pursue their own interests and learn at their own pace.

"As a mother of three elementary age children and a former math teacher, I created myBlee to do more than ask my kids to poke at numbers on a screen and watch videos. myBlee Math is a compelling long-term learning solution that is intellectually stimulating and empowering to parents, teachers, and kids," says Laetitia Grail, Founder and CEO of myBlee

Throughout the app, children are guided by an amusing teddy bear with a bushy white mustache and taught by a quirky British tutor who never misses a mistake. Along with these unforgettable characters, the app includes:

• Fun puzzles, trophies, and badges
• A personalized curriculum that is automatically generated based on the child's grade, level, and learning needs
• In-app dashboard for parents to follow and encourage their children's progress
• Three available languages: English, Spanish, and French

The app provides unlimited learning on more than 1,000 math topics organized around 15 categories: counting and place values, comparing numbers, fractions, decimal numbers, geometry, logic, math word problems, customary and metric length, volume, and mass, mental math, number lines and graphs, and operations (+ - × ÷).

As children master each topic, the levels become progressively more difficult to ensure a fun and challenging improvement to their mathematical abilities.

"myBlee Math is where kids, parents and teachers come for real learning. The iTunes store is full of educational games for kids to practice what they already know, but parents, teachers, and kids are demanding more. With myBlee Math, all kids will love mathematics," adds Grail.

From starting to count to learning to calculate the volume of a sphere, myBlee Math is there anytime, anywhere.

Pricing and Availability
myBlee Math is free for thirty minutes the first week and for ten minutes every week thereafter. The subscription to the full version costs $10.99 per month, and there is a one-time of $10.99 fee for any additional languages. myBlee respects parents' trust and promise, and there are no other in-app purchases or ads to distract the kids from the learning experience.
