Both companies are based in Knoxville, Tennessee, and have been working together on developing electronic components and wireless sensor systems for TrakLok Corporation's GeoLok . The merger will blend the already robust capabilities of both organizations to provide physical security and global visibility for highly mobile cargo and containers in a flexible security, tracking, and monitoring platform, which increases both homeland security and operational efficiency.
The merger, completed in mid-August, unites a security and visibility focused company with a wireless sensor company with TrakLok Corporation as the surviving entity.
