Global Artist Kenneth Hari Announces the Release of Limited Edition Giclees and Prints of his Portrait of Bluegrass Legend Dr. Ralph Stanley

International Artist Kenneth Hari is presently releasing the limited edition prints and posters of his portrait of Bluegrass Music Legend, Dr. Ralph Stanley. Proceeds from the sale of the prints and posters will benefit the Dr. Ralph Stanley Museum in Clintwood, Virginia, where the original painting is in the permanent collection.

Kenneth Hari shares his thoughts about meeting Dr. Ralph Stanley.

"I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Clintwood and working with Dr. Ralph Stanley on his portrait during our sittings in the special guest chamber located in the museum. The countryside is beautiful and the people are wonderful," Hari remembers.

"The museum is a 'jewel' and painting Dr. Stanley's portrait was one of the greatest honors in my career."

"I recall standing with him amidst the exhibits and he looked up at me with a smile and said Can you believe this? In my lifetime, to see this?"

"The man has an aura about him, an elegance, and a wonderful way with people. He has become a true friend and I have gone on to do several more portraits of him. How can I stop painting this great Genius? God has blessed me."

Kenneth Hari,who is considered our first Global artist by many critics, has painted the portraits from life sittings with other county music Hall of Fame celebrities such as Bill Monroe, Chet Atkins, Hank Snow, Hank Williams, Ernest Tubb, Minnie Pearl and Dolly Parton .Many of these portraits are in the collection of the Grand Ole Opry.

"I am so proud of our country music," explains Hari, who considers bluegrass music the true heritage, the True Art of his country of birth.

Kenneth Hari's career spans over 50 years and more than 300 portrait sittings with national and international celebrities including Dustin Hoffman, Paul Robeson, Salvador Dali and Norman Rockwell.
