The Douglas Stewart Company Appoints New Vice President of Operations
Twenty- year veteran will focus on providing solid and decisive leadership that emphasizes teamwork and the principles of quality.

The Douglas Stewart Company announced today that Robert Bernier has been named the Company's Vice President of Operations.Mr. Bernier will provide direction and leadership for The Douglas Stewart Company's North American operations including Supply Chain, Strategic Planning, Process Improvement, Warehouse Management Systems, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Facilities. "I am very excited to be joining a great team here and my focus for the next year will be building on a history of success to ensure we exceed our customers' expectations," said Mr. Bernier.

Robert received his Bachelor of Economics from McGill University in Montreal. He brings 20+ years of leadership experience in distribution businesses to The Douglas Stewart Company. Most recently, he led First Supply, Inc. as their VP of Operations. Throughout his career, Mr. Bernier has demonstrated the ability to facilitate change, positively impact the bottom line, increase productivity, and solidify relationships through innovation and creativity.
