Jake Revere Foundation Hosts Two Events Honoring the Memory and Positive Energy of Local Teen

Making Fun and Music in Jake's Memory to Benefit Local Community Youth

DOYLESTOWN, PA, May 24, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Jake Revere Foundation is proud to announce two upcoming events to help kick off the summer season in honor of the memory, good deeds and positive energy of Jake Revere. Jake Revere was a popular teen from the Central Bucks County, PA area who died at age 16 in a 2008 skiing accident.

On June 9th, the fourth annual JakeStock takes place at George M. Bush Park, 3868 Burnt House Hill Road, Buckingham Township, PA from noon to 5 p.m. JakeStock '12 will include a variety of food, a volleyball tournament, face painting a moon bounce, dunk tank and playground activities. The event also features raffles, a plant sale and a bake sale. The Grand Prize Raffle is a 1980 Phillies Jersey autographed by Hall of Famer Mike Schmitt. Local bands will provide acoustic music throughout the day. JakeStock merchandise will be available for sale at the event.

The next day, Sunday June 10, The Jake Revere Foundation will host its first Benefit Concert at Puck from 3:00 to 7:00 pm in the heart of Doylestown (1 Printers Alley, Doylestown Borough). The event will feature popular local young bands, providing them the opportunity to showcase their music and play full sets in a professional venue. Admission is $10. Tickets are available at http://www.jakerevere.com (on MERCHANDISE page) and at the door at Puck. Tickets will also be available at Jakestock '12 in Doylestown (Saturday, June 9).

These events are sponsored by the Jake Revere Foundation, which helps those in need in the local community, especially children who otherwise couldn't participate in positive social and educational activities. Rich and Robin Revere of Doylestown established the foundation to honor their son, and is intended to help students and children from the Central Bucks area.
