Human Resource Management Firm Offers Training For Business Professionals

GREENSBORO, NC, May 24, 2012

-"Newly Appointed Supervisor Certification Program" is a two-day program that will help first-time supervisors and managers establish a strong foundation for success. Beginning with a self-assessment, the program will identify strengths and important areas for growth to ensure a smooth and effective transition. The focus will then turn to basic supervisory skill building, and strategies for building trust, communicating effectively, motivating and recognizing employees, delegating, and managing conflict. Each attendee will also develop action plans to transfer lessons and skills learned directly back to their job. -"Leading Productive Meetings" is a half-day course in which participants will learn the major elements involved in planning a meeting, the guidelines for conducting effective meetings, and how to properly follow through after meetings. Feedback from others will be given in an effort to improve their meeting facilitation skills when they return to their job. -"What Every Manager Needs to Know About Progressive Discipline and Termination" is a half-day course that will prepare managers to effectively use progressive discipline and, when necessary, conduct the termination process. In addition, the importance of proper documentation in the discipline and termination processes will be discussed. The course will take place on Tuesday, June 12 from 9 a.m. to noon.
