Aravali Institute of Technical Studies ties up with PurpleLeap for Employability Training

The partnership will get students of AITS, 'Industry-Ready', providing one of the largest industry-ready talent pools in Udaipur.

HYDERABAD, INDIA, May 24, 2012 (Press-News.org) Aravali Institute of Technical Studies (AITS), a premier institution in Technical and Management Education, today announced a unique partnership to provide Skill Enhancement Programs, to make students ready to be employed by industry. The program will be run in partnership with PurpleLeap, a Pearson Educomp Company and a pioneer in entry level talent management. Students will undergo training at the PurpleLeap Atrium for Career Excellence (PL-ACE) set up inside the campus. This partnership will function as a one-stop solution for Career Management and Skill Development of students as well as Training and Placement Support for college. The program is expected to immediately benefit students from AITS. Mr Amit Agrawal Finance Secretary, AITS, Mr Om Prakash Agrawal, Patron, AITS, Mr NL Khetan, Secretary, AITS and Mr. Amit Bansal,CEO, PurpleLeap were present for the event.

AITS will benefit from PurpleLeap's PL-ACE program through this partnership. The PL -ACE training program is mapped to entry-level roles across software development, telecom, IT infrastructure management, embedded systems, robotics and design. The program focuses on training students on technical domains as well as organizational skills such as communication and problem solving. PurpleLeap also brings in corporate partnerships to ensure that students from AITS will have more and better opportunities for employment in industry.

Speaking on this occasion Mr Om Prakash Agrawal, Patron to AITS said, "We are delighted to announce our tie up with PurpleLeap.
