Keeping Up With the Economy: Automation Devices, Inc. Increases Workforce

Automation Devices, Inc. a vibratory feeder manufacturer in Fairview, Pa. is adding to their workforce to keep up with the growing economy.

ERIE, PA, August 10, 2012 (Press-News.org) Automation Devices, Inc. (ADI), a vibratory feeder and part system components manufacturer, is pleased to announce the addition of several new employees.

Rick Pitkins has been hired as PEECO Foreman and will oversee all of ADI's custom parts feeding projects. Rick will provide leadership to ADI's parts feeding specialists and vibratory bowl builders. His duties will include managing project schedules and troubleshooting any problems that may arise during a project ensuring that ADI delivers the quality products they are known for, in a timely manner. Rick brings many years of manufacturing experience to this position along with expertise in shop floor management. ADI is pleased to have him on board.
In addition, ADI has hired several bowl fabricators and welders to keep up with the recent surge in orders. ADI President, Kevin Smith is pleased to see the company growing yet again. "With the upswing in the economy it is important that we maintain a fully-staffed workforce to manage the level of work that we currently have on our shop floor."

"It is important that our customers receive the quality of work they have come to expect in the timeframe that was quoted, and in order to do that, it was necessary to make these additions," explains Smith.

ADI prides itself on the skill level and dedication of their long standing employees. Nearly three quarters of ADIs team have been with the company for 20 years or more. "This just proves the point that we are among the leaders in the vibratory feeding industry," says Smith. "That isn't the case for all parts feeding companies."
