International Business Veteran Joins Solar Electric Power Company

SEPCO, the pioneers of the solar lighting industry, is pleased to announce the addition of seasoned and experienced international business professional, Marcos Villanueva to our team as the Vice President of International Sales.

STUART, FL, August 10, 2012 (Press-News.org) Solar Electric Power Company (SEPCO), the pioneers of the solar lighting industry, is pleased to announce the addition of seasoned and experienced international business professional, Marcos Villanueva to our team as the Vice President of International Sales.

"As SEPCO continues to envision sustained growth, we're building an even deeper and stronger team," said Steve Robbins, president of SEPCO. "Marcos' solid background with international sales will add significant value to our existing markets and will enhance SEPCO's presence in the global marketplace.

Marcos has more than 25 years of experience in international business development and sales. He comes to SEPCO from TruePosition Inc. where he was the VP of Sales, Latin America and Spain for five years. Marcos spent 10 years with the U.S. telecom operator Ameritech, working in key managerial and sales positions. Additionally, Marcos has managed international wireless sales operations for telecommunications companies, Nortel and Qualcomm. During his eight-year tenure at Ericsson, Marcos held the positions of Regional VP Network Roll Out, VP Services and Operations, Ericsson Central America, VP Solutions and Marketing for Central America/North Latin America and VP Solutions and Business Development for Turkey and Israel.

Marcos has lived and worked in Chile, the United States, Brazil, Spain, Panama and Turkey. He has conducted business in Latin America, the U.S. and Europe. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the Universidad de Chile and a Master's degree from Michigan State University.
