FORT WORTH, TX, December 01, 2012 (Press-News.org) This month CCRA Travel Solutions - a leading provider of business-related solutions for the travel professional -- is pleased to unveil a new travel agent blog (http://ccratravelagentblog.com) that will feature travel tips and industry insight; travel agent success stories and advice; the latest CCRA agent offerings, and much more. The new blog will also feature a "Wednesday Rewards" contest offering regular opportunities for travel agents to win prizes courtesy of CCRA and its suppliers. This blog was created to become the "go to" place for travel agents and suppliers to share their wisdom, learn new tips and tricks and generally help each other become more successful.
"Our new blog will serve as a platform for travel professionals to share their success stories, expertise, and personal insight with fellow travel agents, and will open a mutually beneficial dialogue between agents and travel suppliers," said Dic Marxen, President and CEO, CCRA International. "In addition to providing an educational and inspirational online resource for agents, our blog will also allow CCRA suppliers to give back to the valued travel agent community by offering travel agent prizes as part of our blog's Wednesday Rewards contest."
All interested travel agents may participate in the new CCRA "Wednesday Rewards" travel agent blog contest for a chance to win various prizes each month that may include (but are not limited to) gift certificates & gift cards, credit card rewards, significant keepsake amenities, program points and more. The contests are free, easy to enter, and will be based on participation (not bookings). Contests will consist of answering brief multiple-choice, true or false, and/or fill in the blank questions related to some aspect of the travel or hotel industry.
There will be at least one "Wednesday Rewards" contest featured on the CCRA Travel Agent Blog per month (occasionally up to four contests will run per month) with the first debuting on December 5th, 2012. Each new contest will launch on a Wednesday, and will run a minimum of five days, proving agents with plenty of time to enter for a chance to win prizes. Winners will be drawn at random, and will be announced the Tuesday after each contest closes.
This rewards program was not only designed to build awareness of CCRA's travel agent programs; hotel brands and programs; new products and promotions, and more - but also to enable travel agents to share their personal input; suggestions and preferences, and professional insight with travel suppliers. Through these contests, CCRA suppliers will be able to garner useful information, advice and suggestions directly from travel agents in order to better provide agents with the resources and tools they need to build their businesses and enhance their overall success.
Travel agents are encouraged to regularly visit the CCRA Travel Agent Blog http://ccratravelagentblog.com to share their personal success stories, participate in the current Wednesday Rewards contest, and read the latest helpful tips and strategies for becoming more successful from fellow agents and travel industry professionals.
