TCG to Bring Holiday Joy to Local Children and Troops Overseas

TCG employees and residents of The Moorings of Vero are working with a local charity, Military Moms Prayer Group, to provide some of our troops overseas with items they may need for the holidays.

2012-12-06
MIAMI, FL, December 06, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Continental Group (TCG), a FirstService Residential Management company, is partnering with The Moorings of Vero, one of the largest Homeowners Associations in Vero Beach. TCG employees and residents of The Moorings of Vero are working with a local charity, Military Moms Prayer Group, to provide some of our troops overseas with items they may need for the holidays. The group ships food and gift packages through gift drives known as "Holidays for Heroes" that generate a good deal of community support.

Additionally, TCG's Vero Beach and Port St. Lucie offices are collecting wish list items for children and their families in support of the Children's Home Society of Florida.
Each charitable holiday effort is part of Continental Cares, TCG's year-round corporate philanthropic outreach program dedicated to enhancing the lives of neighbors, residents and the communities it serves. The primary focus of Continental Cares is to reach out to nonprofit organizations and entities that meet the Continental Cares mission.

"We are proud to work with Military Moms Prayer Group to support our troops. It is great to know that Continental's employees can make a difference in the lives of our Heroes. TCG asks that the Vero Beach community gets involved with this organization during the holiday season," said Nikki Monahan, Vice President of TCG's Vero Beach office.
