Barclays Mobile Banking App Now Has 1 Million Registered Users

The mobile banking app Pingit by Barclays, offers PINsentry services, helping users make their busy schedule easier and cope with their financial commitments.

2013-01-30
LONDON, ENGLAND, January 30, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Barclays Mobile Banking app was launched in July 2012 and was downloaded by more than a million customers before the end of the year.

It's an impressive achievement, which reflects the ever-increasing demand for Mobile Banking.

The app gives users secure access to Online Banking wherever and whenever they want. They can check their balances, view recent transactions, transfer money between Barclays accounts and find their nearest Barclays branch or ATM.

What's more, the Barclays Mobile Banking app keeps getting better. It now comes with Mobile PINsentry - a valuable security feature that lets customers use their debit card to log in and access services, avoiding the need to carry their PINsentry card reader around with them.

Perhaps most exciting of all, it has the ideal companion in Barclays Pingit, the mobile-payments app that lets users make payments to people and businesses using just the recipient's mobile number.

The numbers of downloads are impressive - but they are not the only proof that the Barclays Mobile Banking app is a real hit. Users have found it really does makes life easier, as their comments across social media have demonstrated.
