The Emmy4Yvonne Campaign Interviews Yvonne Strahovski
2011-02-02
ZURICH, SWITZERLAND, February 02, 2011 (Press-News.org) Fans have long admired the talents of Yvonne Strahovski and her depiction of her character, Sarah Walker, on NBC's Chuck. Unfortunately, like most aspects related to the show, Yvonne's performance tends to be overlooked. This is evident by the utter lack of recognition the show receives come awards time. However, after the airing of Chuck episode 4.09, entitled "Chuck vs. Phase Three", a small group of fans decided to change this by creating Emmy4Yvonne.com -- a fan-based, Internet campaign dedicated to getting Yvonne Strahovski an Emmy Award nomination for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

Most Chuck fans argue that Yvonne always delivers an amazing performance; however, many agree that her work in 4.09 particularly stands out because it is so raw and emotional. After watching Yvonne continuously bring her character to life, her fans have decided to do everything in their power to get her the recognition they believe she truly deserves.

In order to make this a reality, Emmy4Yvonne.com has reached out to thousands of supporters, including Chuck Executive Producer Josh Schwartz, encouraging fans to spread the word about Yvonne's amazing talents. Through generous fan-donations, Emmy4Yvonne also purchased two half page ads in Emmy Magazine in order to promote her among the Emmy community. The two ads will be published in the April and May issues of the magazine, which are expected to be on sale April 5th and June 7th.

Most recently, Emmy4Yvonne.com published an exclusive interview with the actress herself on the campaign's official website. Yvonne was kind enough to answer a number of questions written by the Emmy4Yvonne Team. Ranging from questions about her particular performance in Chuck episode 4.09 to her thoughts on the campaign itself, Yvonne provided in-depth responses to each question. The Emmy4Yvonne Team believes that Yvonne's sincere approach and willingness to do the interview will only increase the fans' support for their favorite spy.

Emmy4Yvonne.com continues to plan the much anticipated "Phase 3" of the campaign designed solely to spread the word about Yvonne Strahovski and her role on Chuck to unreached audiences.

Emmy4Yvonne is a fan-based campaign composed of six team members from various parts of the world, each dedicated to spreading the word about Yvonne Strahovski. Since the campaign's creation in November of 2010, the Emmy4Yvonne Team currently manages the campaign's official website, Facebook page, YouTube Channel, as well as the official Emmy4Yvonne tumblr.

That number represents a 16 percent reduction from the previous year when over 5,300 riders died on U.S. roads. Some of that reduction can be attributed to an increase in motorcycle helmet use. Statistics from the NHTSA note that in 2009, 67 percent of all motorcycle riders were regularly wearing helmets in 2009, up from 48 percent in 2005. But despite the recent decline in motorcycle deaths, the number of motorcycle traffic fatalities ...
