eBook-Pub.com Starts New eBook Conversion Services with Transparent and Reasonable Pricing

New eBook Conversion services are available for authors, publishers and copyright owners - convert your books and capture the expanding eBook market with well-formatted eBooks!

2011-05-30
LAMBERTVILLE, NJ, May 30, 2011 (Press-News.org) The book publishing business is experiencing a digital transformation at the moment. In 2010, the global electronic book market grew by more than 200%, ebook sales are projected to triple by 2015 and reach over $3 billion.

The market opportunities created by the fast selling eReaders - iPad, Nook, Kindle, Kobo etc are very exciting for authors, publishers and self-publishing writers alike. In order to reach these growing markets, eBooks need to be created by conversion. However, eBook conversion is not as simple as claimed by some automated conversion software vendors, different eReader platforms have different eBook formatting requirements. To get a smooth, logical reading experience without encountering broken links, errors in fonts, alignment and blank pages, it takes human assisted coding.

This is where eBook-Pub.com's eBook conversion services come in - eBook-Pub.com will help you preserve the look and feel of your published book (or to be published ones), by building xml and html codes from the ground up.

eBooks have the following advantages versus physical books:

1. Compact - A single ebook reader may store hundreds or even thousands of ebooks, it is much easier to carry around (less weight and volume) than the same books in printed form.
2. Hyper linking - Text can be searched automatically and cross-referenced using hyperlinks.
3. Note keeping - eBooks can allow non-permanent highlighting and annotation.
4. Easy access - An ebook can keep track and open at the last read page.
5. Reading comfort - Font size and font face can be adjusted.
6. Back lighted - eBook devices allow reading in low light or even total darkness by means of a back light.
7. Color rendition - eBooks allow for greater fidelity in color compared to CMYK color printing (although some eBook readers have only monochrome displays, they generally offer reading software for PCs and tablets).
8. Multimedia - eBooks may allow animated images or multimedia clips to be embedded.
9. Text-to-speech - software can be used to convert ebooks to audio books automatically.
10. Lower barrier to entry - It is easier for authors to self-publish ebooks.
11. Price - While an eBook reader costs more than one book, the electronic versions are generally cheaper.
12. Ease of distribution - eBooks require no storage space for the supplier and can therefore be offered indefinitely, without going out-of-print, allowing authors to continue to earn royalties indefinitely.
13. Expanded market - Ease of distributing ebooks means retailers can stimulate higher sales of printed copies of books.
14. More sustainable - Although they require electricity to be read, the production of ebooks does not consume paper, ink, and other resources that are used to produce physical books.
