(Press-News.org) About The Study: Study participants with hearing loss with hearing aids showed reduced risk for dementia among those younger than age 70 at the time of hearing evaluation, when followed up for up to 20 years. This finding highlights the importance of early intervention for hearing loss for possible prevention of dementia.
