LONDON, ENGLAND, August 08, 2012 (Press-News.org) Ok, so we know it's only August, but the new A/W lines are coming in thick and fast and with so many gorgeous styles to choose from we just can't resist sharing them with you right now! That's why we've decided to launch the eagerly anticipated Henry Holland A/W 12 collection for Pretty Polly, which is jam packed full of stunning designs.
The Brit designer has really gone to town with his latest collection, bringing his own unique brand of cool to classic designs such as houndstooth and polka dots. We have had a huge style crush on the House of Holland for Pretty Polly collection since they first teamed up, but we think this is his best collection yet.
Inspired by the Tour de France, 70's sportswear and Mork & Mindy, the collection was both innovatively original and also strikingly familiar. Designs like the Houndstooth Tights played with texture and gave a nod to the Heritage trend that was huge last autumn and is set to make a return this year. These bright, vibrant tights come in an electric blue with neon yellow style - shocking enough for even the boldest fashionistas - or a pink, red and white version.
He also updated some of his classic designs for winter, like the Stallegtights, which are a crisp, wintery twist on his classic suspender tights, and (our favourite of them all) the Reverse Star Tights, which are the perfect cold weather version of the incredibly popular Superstar Tights. Henry has flipped the design on these, so instead of opaque stars on a sheer hosiery background you can now snuggle up in style in 60 denier opaque tights that have sheer stars scattered over the legs. You can wear these on their own, or layer over coloured opaques for an even warmer, bright look that you can change to match everything you own!
Henry Holland tights are quirky in the extreme and will take your wardrobe to new levels. With celebrity fans including Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldof in the front row of his A/W 12 show, his designs will make sure you stand out in even the trendiest of crowds. So go and take a look at the new collection for Pretty Polly, because one thing's for sure - Henry Holland is a designer not about to be forgotten.
The aim of MyTights.com is to have hosiery suitable for every size, shape and occasion. To make sure that you find exactly what you want, products have been examined in detail as well as being tested so that every aspect of each product is clearly described in simple terms.
