Fort Lauderdale Dentist Offers Mobile Version of Her Website

Dr. Julia Neuls, dentist in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is happy that her practice is offering a version of her website that is optimized for smartphone and tablet devices.

2012-08-08
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, August 08, 2012 (Press-News.org) Dr. Julia Neuls, cosmetic dentist in Fort Lauderdale, is excited that her practice is offering a mobile version her comprehensive dental website. The mobile site is designed to be viewed on smartphone and tablet devices.

"I'm very happy that we are able to offer a mobile version of our website. I know that many of our patients utilize their phones to get on the Internet frequently and I'm happy that they will now be able to easily access our website on these devices. I hope that any of our patients that use smartphones or tablets will spend some time exploring our mobile website," said Dr. Neuls, Fort Lauderdale dentist.

Because of mobile devices' small screens, many of the pictures, videos and flash content that function well on a normal website do not show up on the screen of a mobile device. To combat this, the mobile site removes content that will not show up and reformats the text on the site to load quickly on a smartphone.

Since 2010, mobile searches have quadrupled and by 2013, more people will use their mobile phones than PCs to connect online. Because of statistics like these, Dr. Neuls felt that it was important for her practice to offer a website that would function well on a mobile device.

All of the important services that are offered on her normal website are also included on the mobile site. This includes the appointment request form. To schedule an appointment for teeth whitening in Fort Lauderdale or another service, patients simply need to enter in the date, time and nature of their appointment. Shortly after this, the practice's scheduling coordinator will follow up with a confirmation of the appointment.
