Nancy Reif Announces Participation in New Jersey Marathon

ORLANDO, FL, August 11, 2012

Nancy Reif is proud to announce her participation in the New Jersey Marathon. She feels succeeding in this undertaking will create a stronger degree of self-confidence in her personal and professional life that is hard to match.

Nancy plans to follow a strict training regimen in order to prepare for the marathon. She knows that marathons require months of preparation and is ready to make the necessary commitments. The New Jersey Marathon has been hosted in and around Long Branch, New Jersey since 1997. The marathon replaced the Jersey Shore Marathon which was canceled in 1985. The course is a 13.1 mile loop that runners completing the full marathon must run twice. Since starting in 1997, the New Jersey Marathon has grown immensely with the 2011 marathon seeing over 10,000 participants.

Nancy Reif hopes to finish the race with a respectable time as well as crossing the line injury-free. She knows that marathons can take a toll on the body so she has been researching proper training and footwear that she might need to avoid any serious problems. It has been a great learning experience for her.

Reif had always wanted to run a marathon but had not made the choice to do so until now. She thinks the atmosphere of the New Jersey Marathon will help motivate her to perform well on the day of the race. The marathon attracts thousands of runners from all over the country and the world. Reif feels that the excitement of the day will propel her to beat the pace she sets during her training.
