DUBAI, UAE, August 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) As interest continues to grow among the regional lighting design community in the upcoming Light Middle East 2012, organiser Epoc Messe Frankfurt has announced the support of a number of leading industry associations for the trade fair.
Prominent lighting industry associations from Italy, Canada, Taiwan and India have confirmed their support for Light Middle East 2012, underlining its stature as a truly representative trade and networking event for the lighting design and technology industry in the wider Middle East region.
Confirming their association with the event were the Italian National Association of Lighting Manufacturers (Assil); Continental Automated Building Association (CABA) from North America; Taiwan Lighting Fixtures Export Association (TLFEA) and Electrical Components Manufacturers Association (ELCOMA) from India.
"Light Middle East is the only specialised trade platform that fosters interaction and exchange for the lighting industry in the entire region, fulfilling a crucial role in further developing and growing this niche market," said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Epoc Messe Frankfurt. "Support from international industry associations recognises the key strategic role played by Light Middle East in facilitating the flow of business in the region," he added.
Endorsing Light Middle East for the first time, Assil provides technical support activities to its members aimed at conti-nually improving quality and performance of the products placed on the market. CABA, represents over 300 organisations involved in the design, manufacture, installation and retailing of home and building automoation.
