Media Artists Group & UAA Create an Alliance That Opens the Door to a New Form of Representation Bringing Jobs Back to Entertainment Representation Industry

Media Artists Group-MAG, one of the oldest talent & literary agencies in Hollywood, announced a new alliance with Universal Attractions Agency today, creating a conglomerate that will be a force to be reckoned within the world of entertainment.

2012-08-14
TARZANA, CA, August 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) Media Artists Group or MAG is one of the oldest talent and literary agencies in Hollywood with their franchise dating back to 1945 and today MAG announced a new alliance with Universal Attractions Agency or UAA, which has been in business since 1949 in New York City. This new relationship between the two agencies has created a conglomerate that will be a force to be reckoned within the world of entertainment.

Berko was inspired by UAA executives, Jeff Allen and Jeff Epstein, along with their successful business model during their initial talks. All 3 executives are now looking forward to their joint efforts, implementing their strategy for their world class growth. This is good news for an industry that has experienced agency downsizing in recent years. Growing divisions at MAG will necessitate an increase in agent staffing, creating new job opportunities for qualified agents and representatives immediately. Agents with international product endorsement qualifications, along with proven experience working with top name clients in music, film and television are invited to inquire about the expansion.

"Our focus now, is to continue to grow our staff with some of the top talent agents in the industry worldwide." states Raphael Berko, CEO of Media Artists Group. "With our international positioning, new agents can live almost anywhere as long as they can handle the fast paced environment we are experiencing. It gives MAG the opportunity to be a leader in hiring dynamic agents with a background interfacing with network and studio development executives."

MAG whose primary office is in Los Angeles, will now operate in affiliate offices in New York, and will soon be opening affiliate offices in London and Asia, where agents will care for top clients worldwide.

"We plan to look for opportunities aggressively based on current client popularity in every country," Berko reflects. "This will include a full range of opportunities that will secure international product endorsements, feature films, television, concert tours and more. This partnership positions Media Artists Group as industry leader among Los Angeles talent agencies and will lead the way to how the rest of the industry represents their clients."

With one of the largest industry music rosters now at their disposal, Media Artists Group continues to build a solid reputation across the board, opening new horizons for their clients. This innovative agency will continue to dedicate itself to representing and directing the careers of some of the most prominent celebrity talent, sports figures, comedians, literary and leading entertainers of today.

When Berko first purchased the agency from Caroline Leonetti-Ahmanson in 1987, renaming it Media Artists Group, he vowed to turn the agency into one that would compete in the league with William Morris or ICM. Berko worked over the years to quietly fine tune and identify the long term requirements needed to develop the vision he had set out to create. Raphael Berko has proven to be a man of his word in this ever fluctuating entertainment industry - not only by competing, but putting the entertainment industry worldwide back to work. Calling all agents! It seems Media Artists Group is the agency to work with.

Could The Massachusetts Alimony Reform Act Affect Your Existing Alimony Order?

The Reform Act provides clear rules for time limits on alimony when spouses are beginning the divorce process. But what if you are already ...
