Little Rock Dentist's Online Tools Make Going To The Dentist A Cinch

Dr. Blake Weber, Little Rock dentist, is helping his patients by making his website user-friendly.

2014-04-19
LITTLE ROCK AR, April 19, 2014 (Press-News.org) People are online every week for hours upon hours. Whether it's to watch a video or share on social media, people are parsing out more time for their online use. With more access to the Internet via mobile and desktop devices, people can get information on the go at work, home or elsewhere.

Dr. Blake Weber has added a few helpful tools to his website so patients can get their dental fixes real quick.

"I know most of my patients are on the go, all the time. In this day and age, that's normal. So it makes more sense to be accessible online and by the phone. Our website has an online appointment request form, comment section, payment accounts, among other things," explains Dr. Weber.

The appointment form requires patients to fill out fields that would normally be asked over the phone. A patient can describe the type of service he/she is interested in, as well as identify any abnormal dental symptoms. Dr. Weber's dental staff make note of each email, preparing the patient for an in-office visit.

As Dr. Weber mentioned, his website also handles online patient accounts and payments. Patients can easily check and handle any charges of a co-pay and so forth. It saves time and paper, which is a benefit to the patient and the environment.

If you haven't been to the dentist appointment yet, Dr. Weber uses email and text appointment reminders to keep patients on track. It is pretty easy to lose a post-it or forget to check the calendar. With a early reminder, patients can remember to set aside that time for an important dental treatment.

These are just a few ways Dr. Weber and his staff are making it a cinch to go to and from the dentist office.

To schedule an appointment at Dr. Weber's Little Rock dentist office, please call (501) 225-0113. To use the online appointment tool, go to www.mylittlerockdentist.com.

Lincoln Park Podiatrist Offers Bunion Surgery

2014-04-19
Budding bunions aren't something to scoff at. A bunion is an unnatural bump at the base of the big toe. If it's unnatural, it's only natural to treat it, especially if you experience pain while walking. Since it is a "bony bump," foot creams can't fix it. To alleviate pain during daily activities, roomy shoes, bunion pads and non-prescription pain medicine are used to decrease the pressure placed on the bunion. However, nonsurgical treatments don't always produce the desired outcomes. "If a bunion is progressive, surgical removal of the bone deformity may be required. ...

2014-04-19

These same qualities can also be applied to finding a great dentist. In Puyallup, Dr. Ngo and his staff offer comfortable, quality and flexible dental care. How do people usually decide if they want to purchase something, especially apparel? They look at what other people are saying because the majority of consumers trust other consumers who have bought the same product. In the health care industry, it's patients who ...

West Houston Podiatrists Help Patients Nip Heel Pain In The Bud

2014-04-19
While plantar fasciitis might be one of the most common foot problems, this doesn't mean that one type of treatment works best for everyone. It's normal for patients to respond differently to treatment, which is why the doctors at the Foot & Ankle Institute utilize a number of solutions for plantar fasciitis. One may ask, what is plantar fasciitis? It's commonly refereed to as "heel pain," but the formal name comes from plantar fascia, which is the band of tissue that connects the toes to the heel bone. The heel pain is caused by irritation of the plantar fascia, ...

2014-04-19

For the Foot & Ankle Medical Group, their website is intended to act as a library. Patients can find information related to the practice as well as read general podiatry topics. "We realized an online presence is becoming the best way for patients to seek out general questions and concerns. If they have a specific foot problem, ...

Warrenton Dentist Reveals Why Restorative Dentistry Is Saving Oral Health

2014-04-19
People know that dentists take care of their teeth, but patients don't always know how dental professionals go about doing it. Once decay or dental trauma sets in, preventative care isn't going to fix it, but restorative dentistry can get the job done. At Dr. Harris' dental practice, he offers services in three different areas: general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Restorative dentistry encompasses treatments such as dentures, dental implants, fillings, dental crowns and dental bridges. Dental crowns and fillings are intended to restore the natural tooth while ...

Santa Cruz Dentist Wants Patients To Spring Into Action For Better Oral Health

2014-04-19
Many people will never experience a broken bone. It's a less common incident, which is why it's considered an emergency. The same can't be said for dental emergencies. Teeth and gums are put in harms way every day. The food and drinks people consume can produce bacteria and acid that are harmful to tooth enamel. "People consider cavities a common dental problem, not an emergency. However, certain stages of tooth decay can be considered a major concern, especially if a tooth's structure is damaged due to severe dental decay. Ignoring dental hygiene practices at home ...
