LAND O LAKES, FL, August 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) Everyone thinks they have the next big idea and now they have a chance to prove it. My Cool Inventions Radio is coming to Philadelphia and will be featured Saturdays, at 4PM, on WNTP News Talk 990 AM. The fastest growing invention radio show, based in Tampa, Florida on their flagship station 970 WFLA, is expanded it's reach in to an even larger metropolitan area that is know for creative ideas and cool inventions!
Inventors are being invited to submit their product at MyCoolInventions.com (http://www.mycoolinventionsradio.com) where they may be selected to pitch their product on the one-hour My Cool Inventions radio show premiering Saturday, August 18 at 4pm eastern on 990 AM WNTP News Talk Radio. The listeners then get to vote for each product they "Like" or "Dislike" - everyone gets to be a part of the inventor's success.
"Many people don't know that one of the most successful TV Shopping Channels actually began on radio," explains Akos Jankura, known as Akos "The Solutionist." Akos is an inventor and international presenter who also writes and hosts a weekday radio feature, "Akos The Solutionist," currently being syndicated from his flagship station 970 WFLA. "I've teamed up with John Cremeans who is known as 'The Doctor of Shopology,'" says Akos. "John has logged over 25,000 hours of live television shopping and is a pioneer in the industry. He is skilled at getting arm-chair inventors to make their best pitch for their product which is so important in the early development process." Together the two have more than $2 Billion Dollars in sales.
Every week the show's listeners are invited to hear the 'product pitch' of featured inventors and then vote on their success. "It's Reality Radio at it's best", says Akos, "We are giving everyday inventors the opportunity to have their idea heard while the audience, or sharks, determines if they like the product or not. If the sharks like the product the inventor will move into our Launch Pad program in taking products to market."
A regular feature of the show, called The My Cool Inventions Academy, is an educational segment where the listener can hear from industry and inventive leaders or call in and ask Akos and John advice on their invention. "Education is key when you're inventing or bringing a product to market", says John, "There are so many stories of people with great ideas losing their ideas and mismanaging their product's development, most of the time, with the wrong people. It's incredibly sad, but we hear these stories on a daily basis."
'The great part about our show', says Akos, 'is the satisfaction of knowing that we're doing something good for the inventor community.'
The My Cool Invention duo is poised to identify products and inventions that can become the next great hit. Their hands-on process invites every-day inventors or people with great ideas to join the inventive group at MyCoolInventions.com and sign up to receive information and tips that will guide them through the process of taking a product to market. Listeners can also submit a product to become a guest on My Cool Inventions Radio where they pitch their concept to a live audience on radio and through the web. The audience vote results may help the inventor get their product taken to a major development or manufacturing company to be readied for market.
"We've developed a resource where inventors can move through the steps smoothly and without the devastating lag time that discourages so many idea guys and gals," says John. "We welcome inventors to step up for their big chance!"
My Cool Inventions Radio premieres Saturday August 18th.
