PARIS, FRANCE, August 25, 2010 (Press-News.org) A host of American wrestling's top performers will be heading to Paris for a special event next month.

Taking place at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy arena on September 24th and 25th, WWE Raw Live promises to deliver plenty of thrilling action and ringside entertainment.

Stars such as John Cena, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Melina and Edge are set to appear at the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) event, which is one of several Raw contests occurring in France this year.

The show is due to get underway at 20:30 local time and tickets are priced between EUR25 and EUR110 (GBP20.40 and GBP89.90) plus booking fee.

Raw is the WWE's flagship programme in the US and the longest running episodic entertainment series in the history of television.

Having existed in various formats since 1993, the show continues to delight wrestling enthusiasts with its special episodes, larger-than-life characters and eventful bouts.

The programme is due to celebrate its 900th episode later this month, making it a particularly good time for fans using Paris hotels to witness some live action.

In September 2008, Raw Live made its debut in France at the Bercy arena. Situated in the 12th arrondissement, the venue can seat up to 17,000 people and often hosts live music events.
